Digital Marketing
Our Digital Marketing Team amplifies the voice of Wasaga Community Theatre, creating a strong online presence to engage the community and promote our productions and events.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Manage and update events, photos, and highlights on the theatre’s website
- Create and share content on social media platforms
- Post event details on partner and community websites.
- Monitor ticket sales, memberships, and emails.
- Design content, graphics and posts to promote the theatre and events.
- Track engagement and refine strategies for greater reach.
FUNDRAISING/SPONSORSHIP
The Fundraising & Sponsorship team helps sustain our theatre by building partnerships, organizing events, and securing vital resources for our productions.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Plan and organize creative fundraising activities and events.
- Build relationships with local businesses for through sponsorship outreaches.
- Research and apply for available arts funding and grant opportunities.
- Foster collaborations with community organizations.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
The Production Assistant ensures the seamless coordination of rehearsals and performances, supporting both cast and crew to bring the production to life.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Post and distribute cast lists, contact details, and schedules.
- Track script distribution and ensure they are returned in good condition.
- Oversee props, wardrobe, and smooth rehearsal operations.
- Coordinate coffee, donuts, and lunch for setup day.
- Arrange for the show to be recorded/photographed/reviewed.
- Organize gifts for key team members and plan the wrap party.
- Assist with set breakdown, collect scripts and music, and handle returns.
